Hey, I'm about to start ReCore, it looks good and don't know much about it so have a question or 2. It doesn't seem to have a difficulty option, how hard does the game get later on, I'm not a great gamer and play more for fun than a challenge. To tie in into the first question, I just finished Final Fantasy 15 my first Final Fantasy and JRPG on easy setting, it was tough in the later stages but good fun too, Recore rule 34 would ReCore compare to that in terms of difficulty. Brutal game tho a good chunk of the difficulty is poor IMO. Honestly I'd be stuck on the Wookie planet still fighting that Shrek looking boss sister if I couldn't change the difficulty, after I beat her I put it back on normal til the next boss, I hate bosses in games, and oh yeah I must have checked the map every 8 seconds to see where I was going.

ReCore has a lot of platforming sections that require a lot of dexterity and quick reaction times, but the combat is very simple. I forget the exact controls but I believe holding the left trigger locks onto enemies no need to aim and the main mechanic is that you can only shoot certain enemies with certain bullets.

It's all colour-coded, so kill red enemies Recore rule 34 red ammo, blue enemies with blue etc. It's pretty straightforward and the difficulty level doesn't really get too steep. I like the idea behind the game, is very low budget game with simple story and simple gameplay.

The stages look too similar so it might get tiring after a while. I just uninstalled the game last weekend after making it to the last section of the game and experiencing too many glitches to progress. The pacing was VERY weird for me I was able to get to the end game at level 17 or so, though from what I read online you really need to be around level to beat the game. So after 4 hours of grinding to about level 25 and still experiencing too many glitches to win certain fights I just decided I'd had enough.

Definitely easier than Fallen Order, but so much glitchier. Is that a word? That's a word now. I literally never finished it because late in the game it was to difficult. I also dont remember much about it anymore but the final rooms where just way too hard. Also idk on which difficulty I played. Wait, can you change the difficulty?? I didn't seem to get the chance to. Very good gameespecially the definitive edition with the HDR and the Reasonable loading times. It deserves a reimagining of sorts for the next gen.

Most of the game is pretty simple and straightforward. Dexterity and timing will be important, but you don't have to worry about aiming at enemies.

There are sections and dungeon runs that are tough, but you can skip a lot of those if you just want to progress. The benefit of doing them is leveling up your character and the different cores, which makes them stronger in battle. It has a very pleasant nostalgic feel with simple controls, so I wouldn't be too intimidated to start it up and see how you like it!

Worst 40 bucks I've spent on a game in my life. Not so much because of difficulty but because of how boring, empty and glitchy it is. Played it on gamepass. It isnt actually that bad but it just isnt worth 40 bucks.

I play a lot of games on gamepass and im like wow this is awesome and if I pay for a game like 20 bucks im always more on my critics and have less fun with it because I expected more. Last 60 bucks game I enjoyed is doom eternal. Because that just is the best game of the generation imo.

But I never felt so good by pre ordering a game before. So for me its mostly gamepass games or games that are less than 10 bucks.

Also a lot of mediocre x games only cost me 1 or 2 bucks and I have a blast with it. Found the internet! About to start ReCore, have a quick question. Posted by 1 year ago.
